Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making property search accessible to everyone.

Last updated: April 2026

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we do

  • All images include meaningful alternative text.
  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy.
  • All forms have associated labels and clear error messages.
  • Colour contrast meets WCAG AA standards (4.5:1 minimum).
  • Fully navigable by keyboard.
  • Minimum 44x44px touch targets.
  • Works without JavaScript (listings visible, links functional).
  • Text resizable to 200% without content loss.
  • ARIA landmarks and roles for screen reader navigation.
  • Unique, descriptive page titles on every page.

Known limitations

  • Map views: Leaflet.js maps may not be fully accessible to screen readers. List view is always available as an alternative.
  • Third-party images: Agent-uploaded photos may lack detailed alt text. Property address is used as fallback.
  • PDF documents: EPC certificates linked from feeds may not be accessible. EPC rating is displayed as text.

Tested with

  • NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • Windows high-contrast mode
